Kodak knows film is slowly dying and that they have to get into
digital imaging in a bigger way than Photo CD. They want to protect
their stake in industrial, scientific, and medical imaging. They also
have a super fast 4 meg video ram chip that lurks in their R&D lab.
Think how the Amiga technology might fit into their plans. They could
probably buy C= and soup up the Amiga faster and cheaper than
developing something else from scratch. Who says it has to be a
desktop computer? Why couldn't it evolve into a digital Carousel
Projector? Fun to think about. 🙂
