Not totally true, John. ILM is actually a division of LucasArts
Entertainment. LAE is currently using 3DS to develop (among other
things) video games that are based on Star Wars themes as well as
other movies. I personally know of someone using 3DS for LAE work,
and am told that 3DS is being used quite a bit up in San Rafael. Now
this may not pay the rent in San Rafael, but I'm sure one could find
an affordable place to live within driving distance!<g>
