PMFJI, but I am interested in the result of your query. I have an Ultrastor
12F with a Maxtor 660MB ESDI drive, and am out of disk space, so I'm thinking
of getting a larger drive. I'm not convinced that the bugs are worked out of
SCSI yet, so I may want to just upgrade the drive. Is 1.2GB the largest ESDI
drive now available?
My Gateway 386 doesn't have room for another drive – do you know if it's
feasible to add an external box for a big drive?
Anyway, I sometimes use OS/2 2.0, and I have 2.1 waiting to install (need disk
space!). I've not had any trouble, with or without Stacker for OS/2. But as I
only occasionally use OS/2, I can't say I've stressed out the software much.
