Just had to join this conversation after these last two messages.
There are several segments in today's society where artyness and
geekness cohabit the same individual. Take a look at any industrial
designer or architect to name just two.
And during the day when I had a "real" job. Though they didn't exactly
send me to school, I did have tuition to art school paid by some of
my employers. (and one even picked up half of the class materials
costs.) It was night school though.
