I think if you go to the OS/2 printer object, select output, select
LPT1, and then turn on its "shared access" attribute, then you can
print from Win-OS/2 while running 3DS. At least it works for me. I
can also run two copies of 3DS at the same time after doing this. I
sometimes run one copy with the Vibrant S3 driver for design work and
another copy using the vesa driver in the background.
