The docs are pretty good, although they are a couple of revisions behind. But the changes doc does a good job of covering the new features, and Autopilot has its own section in AmigaVendor for support. Ap doesn't NEED the kind of docs that Terminus does, since it is meant for use only on CIS and thus doesn't need as much flexibility. Its major limitation is that it is limited to reading forum messages and downloading files (it can display online GIFs like the weather maps too) so if you are doing a lot of other things on CIS it may not be much help. It does have a "hands on" mode for manual use, so it is perfectly usable for those other things, it just isn't an improvement. The demo is the easiest and best way to get AP- First, you determine if AP is what you want, Second you get it set up properly, and when it is working, you register it here online (and get charged for the program). The authors send you a magic email which automatically enables all features of the program. You do need 1) a hard disk with no less than 5 megs free – the history files and catalogs are BIG, 2) 2.04 or better, 3) one Meg of chip Ram or better and at least 2 Megs total, and 4) a deinterlacer of some sort is strongly recommended. Note that the docs are in a separate file. The files you need, all in library 9 (Autopilot) of Amigavendor, are: Ap.lha, apdocs.lha, and change.lha.
