Hi, Mike!
Sorry to jump in here, but… I got my 2.9 today, installed it,
created a quick object (fragmented cone), colored it, added three
spherical lights at about the same distance as the camera, rendered,
and got a black screen! The light sources don't seem to work;
bringing up the global light level works, but the light source
objects don't make a difference. Anything new about the light
sources?
