Well, the CD-ROM part's easy, at least <g>! Any 486 computer w/a double-speed
CD-ROM internal drive will do you nicely, esp. if it has 4 megs or more of RAM
and a SVGA drive (hard *not* to find anymore…).
I think for your "PC to upload, edit, download, etc.", it would help if you
defined what you wanted to do, exactly. Are you looking to actually "dump"
full-motion video into your computer, or do you just need to grab selected
frames? And why, out of curiosity, aren't you just using videotape? Digitized
video takes up a *ton* of hard disk space, after all…
I'd like to hear a bit more about what you'd like to do–and I'll bet other
people could advise you better if they knew that, too.
