Also, have you simply played back the tape you're dubbing from on the VCR that you're dubbing from to see if you're getting the problem w/out even dubbing? Could be that the tracking on the VCR you're dubbing from is 'way off from the tracking on your camcorder (happens to me a lot, so that's my first thought…). Also also, have you trying simply recording w/out dubbing on the VCR you're dubbing *to*? Could be you've got a problem there–if a straight recording (say, off cable television) gives you poor quality, then your recording VCR's *facocked*. Also also also, if all else fails, have you tried simply changing your dubbing cables? And that reminds me–are you dubbing using the A/V inputs/outputs, or are you using the RF in (*not* recommended)? And have you tried unhooking the titler unless you absolutely need it? There could be a quality loss passing stuff through the titler (esp. if it's a cheapo one–another problem I've had in the past). Let me know if any of this helps, Tim Liebe
