I have a user in my company with a Mac IIFX (System 7.1) and a Panasonic LF-5010. She's using Panasonic LM-D501W (940MB) cartridges with the drive, and Corel SCSI v1.00 (June 93). For cartridges initialized with the old version of Corel WORM driver, the SCSI extension works fine, but we can't seem to initialize a new cartridge. MOUNT and VERIFY show up on the Tools menu, but the cartridge won't mount when we try, and INITIALIZE is greyed out. When I run Diagnose, I get an error. I just want to know if I've actually run across a bad WORM cartridge (the first in my experience), or if I'm missing something, or if the driver needs to be (yet again) updated. (We've had to update the last three times we changed the Macintosh system software.)
