Geoffrey, Their have been NO fixes, patches or updates to this software. It has proved to be quite solid. I would look at is memory. Do you have enough to mount a volume that is (6 x 1.4 GB)? This is the standard RAM calculation that you would used if it were a standard one disk volume. The second thing that you want to look at is the controller that you are using. If you are using a 16 bit BUS mastering, DMA using controller, then you are limited to 16 MB of RAM. It may be that there is not enough reserved buffers below 16 MB. Try increasing this option in the STARTUP.NCF with the set reserve buffers below 16 MEG command. I hope this helps Laszlo
