Brent, You probably have a driver from the CorelDRIVER! generation. This generation had to interface directly with the controller. Sample drivers were CUNI_LS2.SYS, CUNI_FDC.SYS etc. Now, the driver is hardware independant (CUNI_ASP.SYS). Where above you had a the CD ROM universal driver for the LS200 and Future Domain you now have an ASPI compliant driver that can pretty much use any controller that uses and ASPI interface. So….if your HP controller has an ASPI interface there is a good chance that it will work although I do not believe that they spend time developing an interface for their controllers when their business is scanners! <grin> I hope this helps.
