#Corel RAID for OS/2
I want to use Corel Raid for OS/2, and connect 2 seagate 12550N disks to them,
and mirror the disks. I also want to connect an exabyte tape drive to the
controller and back up the disks to the tape drive. Will Corel RAid for OS/2 do
the job? If not, what do I need to do the job? What would be the impact on
performance if the exabyte tape drive is a scsi 1 device. I am planning to use
a DPT smartcache 3 EISA SCSI controller to plug all these devices into (8
megabytes RAM on the board). Will Corel RAID make effective use of the
cacheing DPT SCSI card? I want a REAL fast disk system, with the security of
mirrored disks. Am I going in the right direction by examining Corel Raid for
OS/2? Thanks Andrew Stuart
