#Corel 3.0 CD probs
Although I've had the Corel 3.0 package for little over a year, I've not been
able to utilize the CD included in the package due to the lack of a suitable
player. However, I recently rectified that situation with the acquisition of a
NEC internal double-speed CD-ROM reader. When I first examined the disk, I
noticed a 'setup' program and opted to run it. It installed the extended
fonts, which I've not yet tried, along with several other installations. After
the execution of 'setup' I attempted to access the clip-art. I found that I
could not access the clips in the symbols section of the document, which I
believe should be in the files with the sequentially incrementing names from
'Symb-1' to 'Symb-77'. I've noticed several CD threads in this forum recently
and I am wondering if I got a defective disk with my package. The disk is
labeled 3.0A and the center ring contains the string "M831<288>Draw 3.0 REVA"
preceding a barcode. Is this a defective disk? Am I entitled to a replacement
which will contain all the clip-art symbols identified in the documentation?
How do I obtain the valid CD?
