Thanks for the suggestion, although I tried selecting the sunburst, and the
highest resolution possible was 640×480. When I tried to view a gif at 1024×768
it gave me a small window in the middle of the screen that had to be less than
640×480. I'll probably try the cpqvesa suggestion though as well. thanks again
