Ani Pro is VERY different from 3DS. 3DS is not really set up to do
many 2D things as easily as Ani Pro (and vice versa, of course). The
biggest drawback (and it's HUUUUUGGGGGEEEEE) is that it's limited to
8bits! But as Michele said, it's great as a companion to 3DS.
Animated opacity maps are particularly useful.
