I would recommend Director 4.0. This is an incredible program and it seems to be really catching on. When I see free lance jobs they usually ask for Authorware or Director experience (both Macromedia products). I have Toolbook as well. This is not as sophisticated as Director, as far as I can tell. There is a book in the bookstores on Director, I think its called Director something or other. You can get an idea of what it can do. ALso there is another book that gives you a CD roim with a full version of Director 4.0 without the save function called Multimedia: Making It Work by Tay Vaughan, a really good primer. CHeck it out.
