Thank you Craig! We will soon have our own RS-422 solution available.
It is a Zorro card with four RS-422 ports and two GPI triggers. It
will be used in conjunction with a new EX module for our InfoChannel
software. We will also be releasing a new editing software package
called Scala Video Editor VE500. It will be a complete A-B Roll
editing system with all the features of the more popular computer
based editing systems. It will support the Video Toaster, OpalVision
and Panasonic's range of audio/video switcher consoles.
Unfortunately, it will not support the V-LAN system and the card is
not compatible to other editing packages unless a driver is written
to support it.
I'll see what information I can gather and upload it ASAP.
