As much as I dislike the "N" software, it is probably the most common
personal computer network OS available.
I have AMax II+ in my A3000. AMax II+ has an Apple LocalTalk port on
it. I have been using an NEC laser printer attached to the LocalTalk
network with no problems for about a year. But that may be too many
hoops to jump through to get files from one machine to another.
