Thanks, Dale. I'm more concerned with the reliability of the card or external adapter and the client software. We have the Mac's and PC's connected now with Apple LocalTalk which is fine for relatively small files. But it's time to upgrade the whole system and I would love it if all the machines could co-exist peacefully. I was trying to avoid the expense of going Novell, but that's beginning to sound like my best bet.
