It sounds like what you need is an artist and an engineer to go over the system
and figure out how to maximize your resources. Of course, you'd have to first
convince management that this is the best way to go about getting the most from
the system. That could be nearly impossible.
Or perhaps just getting a Modelview ARTIST to come in and go over some of the
finer points with your guys. A few days' training could make a big difference.
The last resort is to sneak around the network at night and set up 3DS on each
machine, and write some sort of routine that will automatically pick up any
stray CPU time during the day and use it to render 3DS. <g>
