OTOH, OS/2 isn't available for the Alpha; NT is. I'm in the process of
benchmarking a DEC Alpha, and if it lives up to its specs, it should be a
screamer. If apps are as portable as the NT-hype machine implies, being able
to run on multiple hardware platforms could have a significant impact on larger
companies (with large, existing hardware investments).
