Hi James, Haven't been on for a few days, so I gotta catch up on the messages. Thanks for explaining lighting to me. You told me a bunch of stuff I didn't know, and I can admit that I was slightly off base by not being able to call it art. I didn't realize that the gaffer would direct a bunch of other people to do stuff. I kind of thought of it as the lighting guy being the lamp operator, and the director doing the role of the gaffer. He would say, "I want this important and to be lit more, so, Mr. Lamp Operator, do it."
