#THE Amiga Party
If there were a huge party/wake to celebrate the 1 year aniversery of C='s
liquidation, would you want to come?
We are making plans and need a quick answer from anyone wanting to make
tentative plans to attend (please email me). Our plans are still tentative. At
this time, we are polling CIS users. Please don't repost this information at
this time (there will be official announcements later).
Lots of former Commodore people want to throw a party and want to invite the
whole Amiga community. Many Commodore people who would have flown in for the
Deathbed Vigil party didn't have enough notice, and are looking forward to
flying in for this event. We may have "famous Amiga users," lots of third
party developers, etc. Kinda like a DevCon, but with less expense, no NDAs and
everyone is invited.
We are tentatively planning for an event at a conference facility in the
Philadelphia area from about 2pm to 10pm on Saturday, April 29, 1995. Dinner
and beer/wine would be included, cost would be less than $50. We would have
speakers, activites, etc., with details to be announced very soon. There would
probably be lots of informal activities all weekend long.
