#NTSC output card
I'm hoping that some of you out there can help me… I'm
currently us 3DS R3 and I'm planning on buying a video genloc card so
I can render to video tape. I would like a card that will let me
ouput in the maximum possible NTSC resolution (is that 525 lines?)
and will allow for frame-by-frame output so I can get frame accurate
animations and 30 frames/sec. I would also like the card to do 24bit
color output at that max. resolution.
So, can anyone recommend a good card to do this? Hopefully
one that has good drivers for 3DS R3 and at the same time doesn't
cost too much. I'm trying to keep within the budget of $1000.
The card will be placed in a Gateway 2000 486/66 with 16mb RAM that is
currently using a Diamond Viper VLB with 2mb.
