Well, we have also been kicking around the idea of developing another VCR
controller that uses LANC (Sony Control-L). Called the Scala Four Play, all
right guys cut the giggling out there… it wasn't my idea to call it that!
Anyway, it will have four LANC connected to an intelligent cable module,
plugged into the serial port. The included EX will have the basic features of
the Scala Video Editor VE500. Sorry, I don't have an ETA or retail price at
this time.
