Based on what I've learned (and am still learning… <sigh>), my only realistic option, budget-wise, is super VHS. I'd say straight VHS, or 8mm, but even *I* have standards as far as image quality goes.<g> Still, thanks for the info. If I should win the lottery in the next week or so, I'll definitely give the Betacam stuff a shot. Tom
