Hi, thanks for your response. I am an animator in New Brunswick, N.J. (an hour or so outside Manhatten) and have been working on creating short (2-3 minute) animations at 640 x 480 x 256 resolution. These are ultimately going to be broadcast, so a smooth transition to video is very important. Initially I tried designing everything so that real time playback and recording would be possible ( no pallette changing, minimal pixel changes), but it is just far too confining. Also, there is the problem of uneven playback(so times things start super fast, then pause while new frames are loaded and stuff), so I finally decided frame by frame is the way to go. Anyway, I was reading the flitape manual, and it describes how it will automatically calculate how many frames of video should be recorded for each frame of the flic based on the flics jiffy settings. Do you have this capability? What are your hourly rates and how long in advance should I make an appointment? Most importantly, where are you located? I hope to hear from you soon, Debbie Berne 72103,221
