Nanc, So glad you got it working. It is kinda neat idea, huh? 🙂 No hunting today (jobwise 😉 ) I spent the entire day, 8AM -6PM clearing away an enormous thicket of overgrown thorn vines. I reclaimed a portion of my creekside land. I can now walk along this part of the creek and across the flood plain without the fear of becoming entwined in a web of thorns. Hopefully this summer I'll get the mower deck down there to keep those thorn vines at bay. I'm going to make this a picnic area. Most of the opposite side of this creek is an enormous thicket of thorns too which I'm leaving alone for the birds and other critters that use it for nesting and hiding in the summer. I may clear a small path along that side of the creek too, but I intend to leave the rest alone. To give you an example of thick, a tree fell across the width of the creek, so balancing myself I crossed it to the other side, but the last six feet or so I had to cut a path along the tree trunk to the other edge. Them thorns fought a tough fight but didn't knock me off that log into the water. 🙂 They sure tried though! Last week I opened a path along the creek all the way to the road (800') across the front line (350') and along the fenced side (980')all the way to the back left corner and around the back to the right rear corner marker (another 440'). Now the dogs and I can take a nice walk in the woods without dodging thorns and overgrown thickets. I was so sore when I finished for the day that for the first time in many many months I filled up the Pearl tub and took a long hot whirlpool soak. Problem with that tub is it empties the water heater (55gal) and then I have to wait for it to recover, then fill it some more. But man, I forgot how wonderful it feels. <sigh> I feel like a new man! One tricep was so sore it hurt to have the full force of the jet against it. But finally it relaxed and then the rest of me did too! I thought I put too large a tub in for one person since I hardly ever use it, but tonight reminded me how comfortable it is in this tub. Anything smaller and you'd be cramped and unable to really strecth out. Now if I could just get a heater for it, it might get used more often. Then a tub cover, PH kit too I guess. hehe. But Monday, I guess I go hunting, 🙁 Christopher
