Gary, After giving it some thought, it should be possible to move the spouses closer together in some cases, however, the present spacing is worked out to give enough room for both parents of both spouses to also be displayed, this is what really takes up the room. If one or other of the spouses has no parent information entered, I suppose they could be moved closer together but much of the time you cant really do this. – Andrew
