I haven't had time to finish the tutorial yet, but to answer your other questions…. <<Does an update from R3 to R4 actually take care of making sure that old driver files (the ones R3 provided) are completely overridden by R4.>> The R4 install will overwrite your current drivers with the new drivers that ship with R4. << I am only using driver files provided by the release R3 and R4.>> The ones that ship with R4 are the latest version of supported drivers. << Yes, cockpit error is a possibility, but I think three times of carefully entering the numbers should be sufficient.>> Right. As you say, there is a good chance it is doc error, I just haven't had a moment to confirm this. -Brian
