<< Do you think a fornsic section is needed? >> It sure would help to establish 3DS as THE solution for doing such work. It probably isn't needed yet, but I think you sould keep the idea on a back burner just in case the industry does explode which it likely will. I've got another suggestion regarding 3DS5. How about an option in the select by name menu (the infamous "h" key) that allows you to quickly selected the last used object. I've noticed that when working with a large scene of many objects, its a real pain to do multiple operations on the same object when it is obscured by others and must be selected from the name list. You could even have a pop-down menu of the last 3-5 objects used to really simplify things. What do ya think?
