Brian, a number of cards seem to be suddenly dropped from the new
drivers in R4. I just read that an ATI MACH32 user has encountered
total incompatiblity, whereas, previously, everything was fine. If i
save the previous drivers version will that be the proper workaround,
and not cause other unforseen problems? As several of us are waiting
for our R4, and we use both Diamond STealth and ATI MACH32, this is
somewhat disconcerting. Additionally, I always had a minor
incompatibility with my ATI Card. Before leaving 3-DS I have to
render a blank screen at 320×200 or my screen will scramble when i
launch other SVGA applications. Trying a number of fixes, mem
excludes and what not, never did find a solution other than the above
work-around. Asked directly to Jonas and a few others at Autodesk and
never received a solution. Also, a member of my team uses an ATI 64
bit card and has to reset entire system when he leaves 3-DS.
