It is Mac, but it doesn't matter. Both versions have the exact same
features. Maybe the only special thing about the Mac version is that
they have been able to reduce the minimum RAM requirements from 8
megabytes to 5 for both Mac and PowerMac. I hope that this will be
the same with the ported version. Another thing in common is the
CD-ROM, which is the same that will ship with the Windows version.
Speed has also been improved, and this seem to be the case for the
Windows version too (it seems that they optimized the code and math
fot the natural media simulation).
Expect a radical change in how things look, act and move in version
3.0. I am wondering how this will run with the 110MHz upgrade. BTW,
no bugs so far in the PMac version (I hope this will be the same case
with Windoze). But enough, I will be back with a complete report on
Monday 🙂
