Rick, No, not too many questions! The Trump Card is just a SCSI controller card for the Amiga that is fast and intelligent. I don't think it's all that key, although it does handle device sharing rather elegantly! Regrettably, it's also out of production. I believe that IVS, the company that made it, went broke a while back. Shame, because it's really nice. There's a version called GrandSlam that crops up second hand from time to time. I'm sure that there would be a conflict if both machines tried to access the same device simultaneously, although I don't think this would provoke anything other than a failure of one machine to access the drive. If I try to access the CD-ROM from the MAC when the Amiga is using it, I just get an error message, but no crash. The Mac isn't treated as a device – the Amiga knows that it's there, but I can't access files on the Mac's hard drive. This would be possible if I used a different cable that turns the Mac into a SCSI device, but I don't really need it. The Syquest performs this function, as files saved to it from the Mac can be read by the Amiga, although not vice-versa. I hope this your questions. John A. On AutoPilot all the way from the U.K.
