Dave, I have no idea why it won't work under OS/2, and frankly do not wish to go through the expense of trying to find out. The fact that virtually every Windows application operates (albeit some better than others) work under Win-OS/2 and that IBM pays a fee for the Microsoft Windows code included in OS/2 makes me believe that the responsiblity lies with INTUIT. The either deliberatley coded Quicken and QuickBooks so that they would not work and/or chose to not select beta sites using OS/2. Mr. Pitkin in another message maintains that IBM fixed OS/2 (via the patch) so that it would work with Quicken. I suspect that the reality is that IBM provided a patch corrects the problem(s) introduced by INTUIT, therby ENABLING Quicken to work properly in Win-OS/2. I most certainly agree with you, we all (OS/2 and non-OS/2 users) do loose in a situation such as this. Microsoft has chosen to dictate what direction product development will take.
