Randy, It is my understanding the MOST non-profit organizations don't need equity accounts. Both versions of QuickBooks have them. I went to the school that dictates keeping things simple. Like the person said, "What are your needs? If you just need to keep track of where the money came from and where it went, Quicken should be sufucient. If you need a more sophisticated accounting package with recievables, payables or inventory capabilities, the QuickBooks is more likely the way to go. Hope that helps. Allen
