Also, it seems hard to break the mentality that a physical model is required or that a painted rendering is more appealling. _______________________________________________ Completely true! We are a tough sell for new technology, CADD is a fine example. The architectural hand rendering world is feeling some pain these days. Computer renderings have made some inroads in this genre. However, the craftsmanship that is exhibited in physical models and hand renderings will not exit easily (nor should it) as it has taken us decades to favor a mouse over a pencil on technical working drawings. Many believe their working drawings are a work of art. Computers in traditional fine arts cause quite a divergence of opinion and I think it will be an ongoing scuffle. My view is that I don't want this to be a battle with a winner, for me a pencil and a napkin or a sheet of yellow trace will always be the best first tools to think out loud. Bob
