Not just are architects worried that a client won't be willing to pay, in an interview/bid situation, you can't add $x to your bid to pay for computer services if your competitors aren't — never mind that you are offering more services; the clients will say, "Heck, firm y is cheaper, lets go with them!" (Of course, if you showed CGI in your presentation, they'll probably expect firm y to do them too, at no additional cost — this makes architects weak-kneed, as they have a very hard time saying "No" to a client — they're too nervous that they whole industry could bottom out at any time, and THEN where would they be?!)
