#3D/XP
(To sysop: please replace IPAS Newsletter! with this new message, thank you)
Here's the latest information on 3D/XP to all those interested.
1) 3D/XP is a new newsletter. It will be about using and PROGRAMING
IPAS and 3DS Scripts, as well as using 3D Studio with other programs.
It will be formatted very much like the book "3D Studio Special
Effects" but will also include product reviews, tips, Q and A's and
interviews. It will be uploaded to an FTP site on the internet and be
available to all. People will be able to "register" for a nominal fee
and these registered readers will get 3D/XP E-Mailed to directly to
them. They will also receive a hardcopy annual and index at the end
of the year. I hope to be able to also send out a companion floppy
disk or maybe even a CD-Rom in the near future. I am also exploring
the possibility of getting the best of each years contents published
in a book. This newsletter will be done as a group effort involving
all that wish to contribute in some way.
2) Anyone wishing to contribute should let me know what type of
article they have in mind and please DO NOT POST articles on the
forum (As Sanford Kennedy pointed out, that puts them in the public
domain)
3) Any IPAS developers who would like their products reviewed should
contact me for more information.
Getting this together will take time but in the end I hope most of us
will think it worthwhile.
Anyone wishing to help should contact me on the ASOFT forum or on the
internet at dmension@gate.net
As always
Thanks (and thanks for your patience, THIS WILL HAPPEN)
