I'm familiar w/ the "natural renderings" you're speaking of.
When The Dallas version of Wzmh was hitting hard here, Habib took me
on a tour of their "rendering gallery". How in H*ll did they keep the
originals and only give copies to owners? McCall,
Connally…..talent to the extreme but available to you for Quantos
Dineros and locally! China town for models!
Fear that they expected that of me was eased when he pointed out
that getting the point across in projects this large was a layered
process where I fit somewhere in the middle.
Before I became illustrator I was the design architect member of a
sales team for a schools architect. My employer (this is the
alchoholic one) bought a twin engine Beechcraft, hired a pilot and we
competed against large firms for schools in small or no-town Texas!
Landing in crop-duster fields and presenting to people who could really
benefit from our services MADE me see that life goes on without the presence of
KPF, SOM, HOK,HKS….FYI, Architecture's a BIG market!
So as Mo said "SPREAD OUT"!!
3d is here! It's making a killing where we aren't!
Creating acceptable presentations using computer will have to be done by
the most fit to create acceptable results. Just as any traditional artist
plans and executes so must the computer artist.
Thanks for some excellent comments. D*mn it gets crowded here at the top
don't it<g>, Gary
