Hi Michael! Where did you hear about RAZOR? The original RAZOR and RAZOR Professional are available directly from the manufacturer, in:sync They have ads in NewMedia Magazine, 3D Artist Magazine, Animation Magazine the Autodesk Multimedia Partner Catalog, and a bunch of other places us animation junkies like to frequent. in:sync has been offering the original RAZOR as part of a sweet bundle. You get "RAZOR," Fauve Software's "Matisse" and "Digiclips" a CD with 75 Video Clips, 50 Bit maps, 50 Voice Clips, 25 Music Clips in .WAV and MIDI file formats and 10 animations all together for a real good price. RAZOR and Matisse were "Finalists" in the Best of Byte awards at COMDEX / Spring '94 "RAZOR Professional" is the big brother to the original RAZOR. And several hundred dollars more expensive. But, as you say, very impressive. Edit and composite D2 quality images… handle sequences of hundreds of .TGA files in seconds.. customizable transitions… supports plug-ins such as Kai's Power tools and Aldus Gallery Effects… built-in character generator… infinite number of 32 bit image tracks, each with its own alpha channel… multiple keys.. a true SEMPTE timeline… variable frame rate and much more. in:sync has one heck of a product. If you get hold of Jamie Carr at in:sync, tell 'em I said "hi!." Kevin Gibson Animation Nation <tm> -=Always glad to help when we can.=- P.S. As for "where in the San Francisco area?" All I can say is check with your Authorized Autodesk Multimedia Dealer. If he doesn't already have it available, tell him to get it. You guys in San Francisco are out on the front of the wave. Help your fellow surfer! Kowabunga!
