I have just purchesed a PAR & TBC-IV. I am trying to copy files accross a Lantasti network to my PAR. My problem is this. When I load the net and then the par, I can not copy any files from any of the other nodes on the net to my PAR drive or my LOCAL drive. his problems happens also if I load the PAR and then the NET. However if i do not load the PAR I CAN copy files from any of the othe nodes on the net to my local drive. But if i then start the PAR without first stoping the net I get the same old message. File corept can't read file, abort. FOr now the only way that I can copy files to my PAR drive is to not place my machine on the net. There must nbe something that i'am not settin correctly. any suggestion will be greatly appreacted as i have a 4 min ani file to compress. ps my configuration is: 486-dx50, 16 mb ram, 345mb ide hd, vga wonder xl with buss mouse on irq2, nex2000 compatalbe nic card, irq=5 iobase=320, PAR and TBC-IV set at factory suggested settings for PC. ms dos-6.2, lantastic 6.0, 3d-studio 4.0 par driver 1.40, par board io 208 (par v1.09, tbc ver 1.80 disketts) thats it. a very plain system. thanks rodger kilo
