Phil, I would say the real emphasis would be how many students <wanted> to use 3ds for studio, though only 4-6 students did use 3ds during the course of their studio. Most professor were open to it, but you really had to prove its value over conventional means. Actually, as more students start to use 3ds, the equipment we have will be totally overrun. I would say that at certain times, only 2 people would completely use up all 3ds resources, doing animations or the like. The school uses 16 486/33 w/ 16 mb each, and these don't exactly "burn rubber". Hopefully that will change, but probably not before I graduate in June. Doug
