Interesting stuff. When you talk about Hensen, you mean the hand controlled, puppet type control right? Or does that integrate into SI/Alias somewhere? I'd say that it would be something a bit more difficult and unnatural than a "waldo" or the reflector-input type deal. As I understand, Hensen's setup has a bunch of hand levers, etc. for different mouth movements, etc. I'm sure it's good (hey, Hensen designed it) but probably would have take a while to get it down naturally. Tweaking the model internally, or using Alias' lip-sync would possibly be easier.. just a thought. I've seen the X-1st (or whatever it's called) facial gesture capture thing (can you tell I'm not up with the terms?) on an effects type show. From what I recall, you placed key points on the object (face, etc) that you wanted to input. Those points were then pulled in, and applied to certain areas of the model (lips, etc.). It seemed pretty effective, but I'm not sure what is the best out of them all..
