Thanks, Matt! 1. Installed from floppy disks following precisely the instructions in the README file. 2. Downloaded QT111W.ZIP (I think that's the file name) from some site on the Net to which I was taken via a hyperlink from Today's Cool Site (which turned out to be Buena Vista Pictures). (I run Mosaic and Mosaic Netscape.) 3. Yes, I both exited Windows and restarted; then I rebooted. Then I took a look at AUTOEXEC.BAT to make sure QTW/BIN was in the path. Then I made sure the subdirectories were all properly created on disk. Then I used some bad language! <g> 4. My registration editor has not recently worked right, despite my having re-expanded it to hard disk from the original Windows floppies. That, or something, used to cause "failed to register OLE server" error messages when starting up Paintbrush, and "An error occurred while attempting to register WordPerfect with the registration database" from WordPerfect 6.0a. Not sure how I fixed these but they don' t happen any more, but regedit still can't save its changes. As I mentioned, I have rebuilt the registration database many times before and reinstalled regedit several times to no avail. Any help GRATEFULLY appreciated! Leon
