Hi Matt, Best resource I know of for QTW installation and play is Bob Currier's documentation in one of the libraries of the Macintosh Multimedia Forum (GO MACMEDIA). If my memory's not *too* flaky it's called QTWDOC.TXT. fwiw, QTW 2.0 is due RSN and is said to have an easier installation process… QTW 1.1.1 used disk images and the directory structure needed to be unzipped intact. I'm hoping that 2.0 will make things a lot cleaner, as well as offering that dramatic performance boost for new videos. One of the frequent issues in MACMEDIA on QTW is playing downloaded QT videos. Files produced on the Mac need to be "flattened" into a single-fork file for playback on PCs. Not all uploaded videos in the various CIS libraries are so enabled for PC playback, but newer uploads tend to be platform-independent.
