> I agree. Those are "lamers". You get to exact your revenge by lambasting >them in your next demo. "Greetings to the LAME turkey who just ripped my code >and stuck his name on it. Hope you feel like a REAL programmer now." Heh! > But they're just kids. Nobody in the know is fooled by such juvenile stuff. It would be like my taking a crayols and marking out the signature on a Van Gogh, signing my name, and then bragging about what a great artist I am. Yes, that was sort of my point… Here I am a hard working, still broke graphics programmer, and I feel excluded from 'the demo team code'. 🙁 As someone that knows what they're looking at, I'd love to see some cool tricks to drool over, and apply in my own ways in the coming years. I have some of my own to share, and admittedly I have one set I dont want to share for free (but that embodies 2 years of effort). >Don't let those kids get to you, they're just turkeys. They're only hurting themselves. For the most part yes, but lets be fair and realize that a few of them are good guys too, stuck in that peer group, looking for our help. I've helped a dozen young teens with graphics over the last two years. 11 were a washout but one, sheesh, he's doing what I couldn't have conceived of at 15. 😉
