Uhm…. os/2 is FAR from the 'best' os… <laugh> os/2 cant run its own apps well let alone windows or dos apps.. not to mention it cant touch 32bit.. os/2 is still 16 bit down at the core… ibm cant get that outa there.. microsoft rewrote windows from scratch twice… Win '95 runs apps better in a window then ran under straight dos, and i dont mean an exclusive window…. os/2 couldnt touch that with a 20 foot pole… os/2 simply is the failed attempt at true multitasking… microsoft knew that.. and thats why they ripped ibm off with it…. os/2 will remain with its outdated 16bit dos under its 16bit kernel.. while windows is moving to a 32bit dos and a 32bit kernel with true multitasking…. something os/2 will never be able to boast… The only reason os/2 is the most configureable os is because it makes >YOU< configure everything… i know how it is.. it can take upwards of 3 hours to properly configure a program to run… windows does that itself for you… so it runs right the first time…
