GRAPHICS VISUAL INDEX OFFERS "THUMBNAIL" IMAGES The Graphics Visual Index Forum lets you quickly and efficiently preview the GIF and JPEG image collections in the Graphics Forums prior to downloading the full-size pictures. "We've been experimenting for years with the concept of offering previews of the images in our forums," says Matt Drury, Forums Manager for The 'Go Graphics' Group. "It hasn't been until recently that storage and processing abilities have increased to the point where we can properly reflect the vast majority of our collections." Each Visual Index GIF image contains 24 grayscale, low-resolution 'thumbnails' of the actual graphics, and is tagged on the image by forum name, GO word, library name and number to make locating the files as easy as possible.
